As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Health, Safety, Quality & Environment (HSQE) Manager to lead compliance, quality assurance and continuous improvement across our business.

The role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead ONFAB's health, safety, quality and environmental activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, maintaining ISO 9001 standards and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

You will work closely with employees across engineering, manufacturing and operations to promote best practice, manage risk and enhance operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and promote a positive health, safety and quality culture.
• Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.
• Manage risk assessments, audits, inspections and investigations.
• Maintain and continuously improve our ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Develop policies, procedures and training programmes.
• Analyse performance data and drive improvement initiatives.
• Support customer, supplier and regulatory audits.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to managers across the business.

About you

Essential

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
• Experience in an HSQE, Quality or Health & Safety management role.
• Background within manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments.
• Experience managing ISO 9001 systems.
• Strong communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to continuous improvement.

Desirable

• Degree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or a related discipline.
• Internal or Lead Auditor qualification.
• Experience within pharmaceutical or specialist manufacturing sectors.
